Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is expanding into Rivian EV service and is seeking a highly skilled technician with a strong diesel and automotive background who is ready to transition into EV technology. This role will focus heavily on servicing Rivian fleet vehicles, requiring precision, safety awareness, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel and/or automotive repair experience.
• Basic to intermediate electrical knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Must supply own tools.
• Rivian EV certification (highly preferred).
• Experience working with electric or hybrid vehicles.
• Other EV or high-voltage certifications.
• Welding or fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair Rivian electric vehicles and systems.
• Perform high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs (battery systems, inverters, drive units).
• Follow all Rivian and EV-specific safety protocols including PPE and lockout/tagout.
• Perform traditional mechanical repairs when applicable (suspension, brakes, HVAC).
• Complete preventive maintenance and inspections for EV fleets.
• Utilize diagnostic software and tablets for work orders and system updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs and diagnostics.
• Manage mobile service inventory and parts sourcing.

This role will focus heavily on servicing Rivian fleet vehicles, requiring precision, safety awareness, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Diagnose, service, and repair Rivian electric vehicles and systems

Salary information: $30 - $35/hr. – pay is commensurate with experience
