Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for miscellaneous and project quotations under supervision. Responsible for miscellaneous project management from beginning to end under supervision. Responsible for data input into SESCO Prime as directed. Responsible for maintaining a catalog of demo gear, shipping and receiving of demo gear as directed.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Builds and maintains relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside salespeople.
2. Attend product training sessions when available.
3. Perform material take-offs as needed.
4. Provide miscellaneous and project quotations as needed for Theatrical, Architectural and Energy Management Lighting and Controls Systems as well as Kinetics Changing Systems.
5. Assist with project layouts.
6. Input daily report information inclusive of quotations, order entry and order tracking as needed into SESCO Prime.
7. Assist with producing submittals.
8. Assist with proactive shipping information to customers and co-workers.
9. Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
10. Refer unresolved issues to designated departments for further investigation.
11. Maintain knowledge of currently represented products.
12. Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
13. Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Essential Skills:

1. Must possess 2 – 4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting controls, project quotations and project management experience.
2. Knowledge and principles for providing quality standards of positive customer service and satisfaction.
3. A certain degree of creativity for problem solving.
4. Experience in submittal creation and review.
5. Must have excellent math skills.
6. Must be able to multi-task.
7. Exercise independent judgement.
8. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, and internet research.
