Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Light Commercial Unitary (LCU) Equipment Account Manager to develop new customer relationships and strengthen the existing base for maximum penetration and retention in the Baton Rouge area.

You will serve as the sales and marketing liaison between customers and the Commercial District Sales Office, identify opportunities, build long-term relationships with contractors and building owners, and travel to job sites as required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in sales/account management or a similar role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree accepted in lieu of experience; leadership principles are valued.

Responsibilities

• Function as a sales and marketing liaison between customers and the Commercial District Sales Office.
• Evaluate market opportunities and identify key customers using the account management process.
• Build long-term relationships with contractors and building owners within the assigned territory.
• Identify customer problems and evaluate Trane products/services to meet needs.
• Facilitate introductions to other sales teams for opportunity development and bundled solutions.
• Travel to customer job sites is required and may include exposure to outdoor conditions and mechanical spaces.
