The day-to-day duties include reviewing materials, preparing parts per orders, interpreting specifications, and ensuring quality through precise measurement. Candidates should lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environment (1–3 years) required.
• Able to read and comprehend blueprints and part specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review bills of materials and ensure parts are available per production schedule.
• Prepare assembly parts per customer orders and specifications.
• Prepare die bodies after chrome plating by stoning surfaces.
• Interpret blueprints/specifications to plan fabrication and assembly sequences.
• Safely lift, position, and secure machined parts on worktables using hoists and vises.
• Fit and assemble parts to create dies with machining and hand tools.
• File, grind, shim, and adjust parts for proper fit.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Participate in 5S, kaizen and Lean initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
