A local education provider in Bellevue, Nebraska, is seeking a part-time Light and Sound Technician responsible for providing technical assistance in sound and lighting for various events and programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Activities Director and different departments while also training student assistants in technical support. This position is ideal for current Bellevue Public Schools students. The starting hourly salary is $12.

Job Description

The Sound Technician is responsible for working with the Activities Director in providing Technical Assistance to groups renting the Auditorium, Gymnasium, and Stadium in regard to sound and lighting. In addition, the Sound Technician works with the Drama, Choral, and Instrumental Music Departments in setting up technical assistance for programs. Finally, he/she is responsible for training student assistants to provide technical support to the groups using the auditorium. This position is for current Bellevue Public Schools students.
