Job summary

Janux Therapeutics, Inc. in San Diego seeks a Research Associate to join the pharmacology group. You will develop and execute ligand binding assays and other in vitro methods to support PK and pharmacology studies, while analyzing data and documenting results to advance drug candidates.

The ideal candidate has ligand binding assay development experience (ELISA/MSD), strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or Master's with 1 year.
• Experience in ligand binding assay development, qualification/validation and sample analysis.
• Data analysis tools such as Excel or GraphPad; data management/coding skills a plus.
• Hands-on ELISA and MSD experience; cell-based assays a plus.
• Ability to follow SOPs with high accuracy and reproducibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and execute ligand binding and other in vitro assays for pharmacology studies.
• Execute assays from development to sample analysis and reporting per procedures.
• Analyze and present data using Prism, Excel and MS Office.
• Document experiments in lab notebooks and electronically.
• Prioritize workload in a multi-task environment.
