Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a JSF Field Service Engineer to serve as the primary contact for LiftSystem integration and operation issues, with duties spanning technical guidance, issue resolution, and liaison with Pratt & Whitney.

The role is based at Ebbing Field ANGB, Arkansas, with potential relocation to Changi Air Base in Singapore around 2028. You will address AR issues, support field deployments, and contribute to mission-critical propulsion systems within a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace or an Engineering discipline with 2+ years of aviation propulsion experience.
• US Citizenship required and relocation to Arkansas and Singapore for this role.
• FAA A&P license preferred; prior field service experience in aviation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Be the initial customer contact for LiftSystem AR issues at Ebbing Field and assist Pratt & Whitney as needed.
• Provide authoritative technical guidance on LiftSystem operation and maintenance.
• Record all operational events in Maximo and coordinate with Pratt & Whitney on status and corrective actions.
• Review engineering changes to minimize adverse field impact and provide regular status updates to Pratt & Whitney.
• Monitor Rolls-Royce deliveries of flight hardware, modification kits, and spares; report anomalies for resolution.
• Aid in interpretation of maintenance and repair instructions and escalate to RR Engineering as required.
• Ensure TV and AR reporting; provide supplementary information as needed.
• Provide ongoing status reports on F35B operations, considering export/OPSEC.
• Support Lead FSR in Deployed Services and JSF Program responsibilities.
