Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a JSF Field Service Engineer to serve as the primary contact for LiftSystem integration and operation issues at Cherry Point, NC. You will provide technical guidance, assist Pratt & Whitney teams, and ensure data capture in Maximo while coordinating with RR management and customers.

The role requires advanced aviation propulsion knowledge (DoD), an engineering degree, US citizenship, and readiness to deploy 3–6 months as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor/Master/JD/PhD in Aviation/Aerospace or Engineering
• Experience in aviation propulsion, preferably DoD, with jet engine focus
• US Citizen required

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact to resolve LiftSystem AR issues for Fleet Readiness Center East
• Provide technical guidance and assistance on LiftSystem problems
• Coordinate with Pratt & Whitney and customers on technical issues
• Record events in Maximo and report status updates
• Review engineering changes to minimize field impact
• Support on-site teams and maintain communications with RR management and customers
• Travel deployments 3–6 months as needed
