Barnhart is seeking a Project Sales Technician to provide technical support for complex lifting, rigging, and heavy transportation projects. The role combines field and office work, requires 3+ years in crane/rigging, and involves travel for local and regional project support.

You will develop lift plans, validate project requirements, and work with sales, engineering, and operations teams to design safe, effective solutions while ensuring rigorous safety standards are met throughout all

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in crane and rigging, heavy lift, construction, industrial services, or related field.
• Experience developing lift plans and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to pass fit-for-duty examination.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and project assessments to evaluate scope and site conditions.
• Develop lift plans and technical documentation to support planning and execution.
• Partner with sales, engineering, and operations to develop lifting solutions.
• Identify project risks and support planning for successful execution.
• Contribute technical input for estimates, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Create technical documentation for proposals and presentations.
• Coordinate with operations to align plans with equipment and personnel.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Participate in customer meetings as a technical SME.
• Promote safety throughout planning and execution.
