Job summary

Kettle Cuisine, LLC. is seeking a Lift Truck Operator to support warehouse operations in Everett, WA.

The role requires handling raw ingredients and packaging, storing and moving items, and ensuring accurate inventory while following food safety guidelines. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401k, PTO, and leave provisions.

Responsibilities

  • Receive raw ingredients and packaging supplies according to procurement and quality guidelines.
  • Put away all raw ingredients and packaging supplies in storage locations.
  • Pick and transfer raw ingredients and packaging supplies to operation departments.
  • Ensure proper rotation of ingredients (first expired – first out).
  • Return ingredients and packaging supplies to proper storage after usage.
  • Transfer finished goods to rack locations and shipping docks.
  • Pick, follow first in–first out, and ship finished goods per quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete tasks through an ERP application.
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse including storage areas and docks.
  • Maintain relationships with warehouse and operations leads.
  • Monitor accuracy of inventory locations and tags.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies to leads and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive raw ingredients and packaging supplies according to specified procurement and quality guidelines.
  • Put away all raw ingredients and packaging supplies in the appropriate storage locations.
  • Pick and transfer raw ingredients and packaging supplies from warehouse storage to operation departments as requested.
  • Ensure proper rotation of raw ingredients, first expired – first out.
  • Return ingredients and packaging supplies back to proper storage locations after usage.
  • Transfer finished goods to rack locations and/or shipping docks.
  • Pick, follow first in – first out, and ship finished goods via shuttles or direct to the customer in accordance with all quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively complete all the above-mentioned tasks through an ERP application
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse to include dry, frozen, and cooler storage, and all receiving and shipping docks as well as the finished goods cooler.
  • Maintain strong working relations with warehouse and operations leads.
  • Monitor the accuracy of inventory locations and tags.
  • Effectively communicate inventory discrepancies and other issues to the lead and manager as appropriate.
  • Maintain food safety practices.
  • Monitor for safe load capacity on storage racks.
  • Monitor safe storage procedures to eliminate workplace hazards.
  • Other duties as required.

Required Qualifications/Education/Skills

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 2/3 of working time.
  • Ability to work in cold environments (Cooler, Freezer)

Different climates – Such as dry storage, Cooler, Freezer

Manufacturing environment—conditions can be wet and cold.

Compensation: $21.00- $26.00ph (DOE)

Pay Range for Lift Truck Operator (LTO) (Shift 1A)

The Lift Truck Operator (LTO) (Shift 1A) base pay range $23.00 - $26.00/hourly. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Everett, WA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Lift Truck Operator (LTO) (Shift 1A) position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. Kettle Cuisine and all its legal entities comply with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
