Job summary

Kettle Cuisine is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Associate at the Everett, WA facility. The role requires Forklift certification and Reach Truck operation to manage receiving, storage, and shipment of raw ingredients and packaging supplies.

You will work within a manufacturing setting and use ERP tools to ensure accurate inventory and safe handling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and can maintain organization in a cold storage environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Self-motivated with reliable attention to detail and good time-management.
• Basic math and reading skills required for inventory and documentation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw ingredients and packaging supplies according to procurement and quality guidelines.
• Store and organize all incoming materials.
• Pick and transfer materials to operation departments as requested.
• Rotate stock (first-expired, first-out) and return items to proper locations.
• Move finished goods to rack locations or shipping docks.
• Follow FIFO and ship goods to customers per quality and regulatory requirements.
• Process tasks using the ERP system.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, docks, and cooler spaces.
• Monitor inventory locations and communicate discrepancies to leadership.

Job Location: Everett Plant - Everett, WA 98203

Salary Range: $23.00 - $26.00 Hourly

Key Responsibilities

• Receive raw ingredients and packaging supplies according to specified procurement and quality guidelines.
• Put away all raw ingredients and packaging supplies in the appropriate storage locations.
• Pick and transfer raw ingredients and packaging supplies from warehouse storage to operation departments as requested.
• Ensure proper rotation of raw ingredients, first expired – first out.
• Return ingredients and packaging supplies back to proper storage locations after usage.
• Transfer finished goods to rack locations and/or shipping docks.
• Pick, follow first in – first out, and ship finished goods via shuttles or direct to the customer in accordance with all quality and regulatory requirements.
• Effectively complete all the above-mentioned tasks through an ERP application
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse to include dry, frozen, and cooler storage, and all receiving and shipping docks as well as the finished goods cooler.
• Maintain strong working relations with warehouse and operations leads.
• Monitor the accuracy of inventory locations and tags.
• Effectively communicate inventory discrepancies and other issues to the lead and manager as appropriate.
• Practice safe forklift operating procedures
• Maintain food safety practices.
• Monitor for safe load capacity on storage racks.
• Monitor safe storage procedures to eliminate workplace hazards.
• Other duties as required.
