This is an FLSA Non-Exempt, at-will position with the Town of Gilbert.

Must be able to work in extreme temperatures that are part of the Arizona climate.

You must be available to work a 4-10 schedule within our service hours: Monday through Thursday, 4:30 AM to 3:0PM. On call, required, one (1) week every five (5) weeks, with one (1) week of backup within the five (5) week rotation. While on-call, it is required to work 4 hours of overtime each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The work of a lift station technician requires working near wastewater.

Licensing and Certifications

• Must possess an ADEQ Grade 1 ADEQ Wastewater Collections System Operator certification at time of hire and obtain a Grade 2 ADEQ Wastewater Collections System Operator certification within 1 year of hire.
• Must possess a Class B CDL permit with Tanker Endorsement at the time of hire and obtain a Class B CDL license with Tanker Endorsement within 6 months of hire.

This position is an At-Will position, FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.
