Job description

Responsible for operating power lift equipment to assist in the efficient flow of merchandise into and out of the distribution center.

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or GED, plus one year of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence; effective communication skills for small group and one-on-one interactions.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems involving standard variables.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Strong sense of urgency and willingness to move purposefully.
  • Availability to work weekends, overtime, and any shift.
  • Familiarity with distribution center terminology and processes.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and power lift equipment (training provided).

Key responsibilities:

  • Operate power lift equipment to move products from receiving to storage, replenish order locations, and load trailers.
  • Properly store incoming merchandise, relocating items as necessary.
  • Separate and move pallets as required.
  • Retrieve merchandise orders for stores.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range: $20.80 per hour.
