Tahoe Donner Association is seeking Lift Operators for our downhill ski resort, focusing on safe operation of chair lifts and strong guest relations. You will perform pre-checks, assist guests in loading and unloading, and help with snow removal and site maintenance.
Ideal candidates are 18+, with strong teamwork and people skills, able to work outdoors in winter conditions, and willing to work holidays and busy periods. CPR/First Aid recommended; lift operations exam required before use.
Tahoe Donner Association is looking for fun and personable Lift Operators to join our Downhill Ski Resort operations! The Lift Operator is responsible for operating chair lifts and maintains terminal area. This position performs crowd control, checks lift tickets and lift passes. This is an outside job working in a variety of winter weather elements. The Lift Operator oversees the daily operation of a chair lift in a safe and efficient manner while promoting positive guest relations with riders and co-workers. This position maintains the loading and unloading ramps, sets up signage, barrier fencing, ropes and maze lines.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of high school diploma or equivalent plus one to three months relevant experience and/or training in a customer related position; or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
