Job summary

Tahoe Donner Association is seeking Lift Operators for our downhill ski resort, focusing on safe operation of chair lifts and strong guest relations. You will perform pre-checks, assist guests in loading and unloading, and help with snow removal and site maintenance.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with strong teamwork and people skills, able to work outdoors in winter conditions, and willing to work holidays and busy periods. CPR/First Aid recommended; lift operations exam required before use.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR and First Aid certifications recommended.
• Excellent communication and people skills; enjoy interacting with guests.
• Must pass lift operations exam prior to operating lifts.
• Willingness to work holidays and peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate chair lifts and monitor loading/unloading areas.
• Perform pre-operational checks and daily safety logs.
• Assist guests in loading/unloading during extreme weather.
• Support snow removal and keep walkways clear.
• Maintain signage, barriers, and safety equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and guest relations.
