Position Details

Overview of Position

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of chairlifts during Windham Mountain Club’s summer season. The lift primarily transports club members to Cin! Cin!, a mountaintop restaurant offering scenic dining experiences. Lift Operators ensure guests have a welcoming, safe, and smooth experience traveling to and from the venue.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, sun, wind, and rain
• Remain alert and responsive in busy, social, and dynamic settings
• Friendly, guest-oriented, with strong communication skills
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing light physical labor

Job Duties

• Lift Operations: daily setup, shutdown, safe loading/unloading, monitoring, maintaining cleanliness, reporting issues
• Guest Service: greeting, assisting, providing information, boarding assistance, effective communication, ensuring positive guest experience
• Safety & Maintenance: following safety procedures, performing light maintenance, monitoring lift functionality, reporting concerns

Work Schedule and Conditions

This is a seasonal, part-time position based on Cin! Cin!'s summer dining schedule. Shifts are typically Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 3:00 PM until close. Hours may vary for events or holidays. Weekend availability is required. Operators should arrive prepared for outdoor conditions and ready to deliver service.
