Job summary

Peoplelink Staffing is seeking Lift Operators for a warehouse in Mount Juliet, TN. The role involves operating Stand-Up Reach Forklifts and Order Pickers to safely load, unload, restock, and stage orders in a fast-paced distribution center.

Shifts available include 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) and 3rd shift (10:30pm-7:00am, Sun-Thurs). Wage starts at $19 per hour and up, with a contract-to-hire path and benefits such as medical, dental, life, and 401K available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience operating Stand-Up Reach Forklift and Order Picker.
• Able to pass written exam and forklift driving aptitude test.
• Strong basic math skills; high attention to detail.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods; lift 25–50 lbs.
• Team player who can work overtime; maintain safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick, move, stack, and retrieve materials in the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial trucks to load/unload shipments, restock inventory, and stage orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace following OSHA standards.
• Address routine tasks in receiving and manage inventory and equipment.

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent Distribution Warehouse in the Mount Juliet, TN: area, is seeking Lift Operators to join their team!

Summary

• Shifts Available:
  • 2 nd - 3:00pm - 11:30pm M-F
  • 3 rd – 10:30pm-7:00 am Sun-Thurs
• Pay: $19 and up/hr

Position Summary

Safely pick, move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse. You will be responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to load and unload shipments, restock inventory, and stage orders for distribution.

Requirements

• Pick and fulfill customer orders from warehouse stock
• Organize, store, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse
• Address and handle routine tasks in the receiving area
• Identify, manage, and maintain essential equipment, tools, and supplies
• Perform routine maintenance in receiving to ensure a neat, organized distribution center
• Retrieve and transport goods to designated locations
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards
• Consistently meet or exceed targeted production and efficiency targets
• Ensure high-quality work with a strong focus on accuracy
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, assisting other departments and working overtime when required (flexibility essential)
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality in accordance with company standards
• Load, unload, and place merchandise into trailers, pallet racks, and storage locations
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• 1+ years of experience operating a Stand-Up Reach Forklift and Order Picker
• Ability to successfully pass written exam
• Ability to pass a pre-employment forklift driving aptitude test
• Strong basic math skills with the ability to count inventory accurately and efficiently
• High attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift
• Ability to repeatedly lift between 25 and 50 lbs
• Proficiency in operating a manual pallet jack
