Job summary

Luttrell Staffing Group in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to safely move materials, receive shipments, and prepare orders. The role is full-time, temp-to-hire, with a pay rate of $16.50–$22 per hour, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

• Previous warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.

• Familiarity with packing, shipping documents, and UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight procedures.
• Basic computer skills and experience with shipping, inventory, or warehouse tracking systems.
• Ability to read shipping documents, packing lists, and inventory records.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment, tools, and mechanical components.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
• Receive shipments, verify quantities, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
• Prepare, package, label, and ship orders through UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers.
• Track shipments and help resolve shipping and receiving issues.
• Organize materials, maintain inventory records, and assist with inventory counts.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable OSHA requirements.
• Comply with the drug‑free workplace policy and complete applicable pre‑employment drug screening as permitted by law.
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place.
• Completes any other related tasks as needed.
