Job summary

Rooms To Go is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive efficient, safe daily operations.

The role requires 4+ years in warehousing, including 2 years in management, with strong KPI knowledge and budgeting responsibilities. You will coach staff, collaborate across departments, and optimize processes to ensure goals are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of college or equivalent.
• Four years of warehouse experience, of which two years must involve warehouse department management.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs and ability to implement improvements.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruit, motivate and retain a team of high-performing and driven Associates
• Work closely with the Associates to improve morale by motivating through effective coaching and facilitating personal growth
• Work with other department leaders to cultivate a welcoming and team-focused environment
• Manage the daily delivery ticket pull; ensuring all production and efficiency standards are maintained
• Communicate effectively with Associates and all levels of management
• Identify and celebrate operational successes; develop and implement strategies to capitalize on opportunities and address areas of improvement, and execute accordingly
• Manage department budget, ensuring department goals are met or exceeded
• Strategically manage department operations in compliance with company policies and vision
• Initiate, coordinate and effectively manage compliance of optimal operational policies and procedures
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of college or equivalent
• Four years of warehouse experience, of which two years must involve warehouse department management
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ability to manage details, appreciate complexity, and champion problem solving
• Strong leadership skills, flexible and innovative with a collaborative style
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to bend, stand, walk for prolonged period of time
• Able to repeatedly lift50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
