Snowshoe Mountain is hiring a Lift Attendant Supervisor to lead lift operations and guest service on a dynamic mountain team. This flex position supports 9–11 months per year, with opportunities to travel during off months and enjoy employee housing on site.

Responsibilities include training staff on lift safety, guiding guests on lift usage, and coordinating with departments to maintain smooth operations in varying weather. A passion for skiing or snowboarding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience with lift operations or two years in a supervisory role.
• Must have some computer knowledge.
• Skiing or snowboarding ability.

Responsabilités

• Train staff on loading/unloading lifts and safety procedures, and ensure lifts operate safely in various weather conditions.
• Assist guests with aerial and conveyor lifts and guide loading/unloading areas.
• Monitor signage, ramps, and ice conditions; shut down operations during severe weather.
• Manage staffing, schedules, absenteeism, and lift ticket checks for validity.
• Check inventory, verify supplies, and maintain lift logs and incident forms.
• Coordinate with other departments and stay current with industry standards and ANSI-B77 code changes.

Job Responsibilities

• Training & Safety: Train employees on proper techniques for loading/unloading lifts, and ensure proper use of lift controls and safety equipment. Conduct safety training sessions and ensure lifts operate safely under varying weather conditions.
• Guest Assistance: Assist guests with aerial lifts, conveyor lifts, tow ropes, and surface lifts. Guide guests through loading/unloading areas, including handling swinging chairs, and address any concerns.
• Operations & Monitoring: Ensure proper signage is in place, ramps are smooth and ice-free, and machinery is operating correctly. Monitor weather conditions and shut down operations during severe weather.
• Staffing & Support: Ensure staff adhere to uniform requirements, assist with staffing, and resolve conflicts. Produce weekly schedules, manage absenteeism, and oversee lift ticket checks for validity.
• Inventory & Documentation: Check inventory, verify supply deliveries, and ensure proper lift logs and incident forms are completed.
• Collaboration & Communication: Assist other departments with lift operations and conduct staff meetings. Keep up-to-date on industry standards and ANSI-B77 code changes.

Driving

• Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program

Preferred Experience

• 2 years' experience with lift operations or 2 years experience in a supervisory role
• Must have some computer knowledge
• Skiing or Snowboarding ability

Education

• High School Diploma or GED
