Job summary

Wintergreen Resort in Virginia is seeking a Lift Attendant for the winter season. You will assist guests with ski lifts, prepare lifts for opening, and maintain ramps throughout the day to ensure safe loading and unloading. The role includes maintaining signage, enforcing rules, and running lift lines with colleagues.

Immediate promotion to Lead is available based on performance. Candidates must be 16 or older and able to work outdoors in all weather, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

# Lift AttendantWintergreen - Nellysford, VA 22958## OverviewSalary Range$15.00Position TypeSeasonal## Description**SUMMARY:**Assist guests with ski lifts. prepare lifts for opening, maintain lift ramps throughout day, ensure safe loading/unloading of lifts, maintain signage, communicate rules, complete required paperwork, assist with slope access, and run lift lines.Immediate promotion to a Lead Position is available based on superior performance.**PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:*** Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts.* Must be in uniform when on duty.* “Lead by example” for a safe work environment.* Follow all opening, closing, and daily operating procedures.* Greet guests in a friendly manner.* Advise and assist passengers as required.* Maintain an orderly passenger traffic flow in a safe manner.* Maintain surveillance of work area and adhere to ANSI B-77 code.* Keep work area neat and clean.* Must follow policies and procedures outlined in the Wintergreen Handbook and departmental training.* Able to take on additional tasks and assignments assigned by the manager## Qualifications# **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*** Must interact with guests in a safe, friendly, and positive manner.* Tolerable of working outdoors for extended periods of time in all types of weather conditions. Considered applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.* Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.This is Seasonal Full Time or Part Time positions.
