Job summary

Asbury is seeking a Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator to enhance quality of life for residents across care levels in our senior living community. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will plan, coordinate, and execute activities, outings, and events while partnering with the DON Well-Being Manager to ensure regulatory standards and certifications are met.

You will schedule events, oversee room reservations, manage volunteers, and support residents and families on an ongoing basis,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a senior living community or related setting.
• Experience planning and coordinating activities and events.
• Experience coordinating volunteers and volunteers management.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, plans, and coordinates internal and external events, venues, catering, setup, and tech needs.
• Oversees and supports volunteers for all resident activities and programs.
• Provides ongoing support to residents and families.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full Time, 40 hours weekly
• Day Shift with occasional evening hours for events as needed
• Every other weekend & every other holiday required.
• $22.25/hour

Job Description

The Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life and well-being of residents across all levels of care within our senior living community. Reporting to the Executive Director, this multifaceted position involves planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of activities, outings, and events that cater to the interests and needs of our residents. Additionally, the role includes partnering with the DON Well-Being Manager by ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and certifications.

Keyresponsibilities include but aren't limited to:

• Schedules, plans, and organizes both internal and external events, overseeing room reservations, catering, setup, and technical requirements.
• Oversees and supports volunteers for all areas of living, ensuring effective utilization of volunteer resources. Responsible for volunteer recruitment efforts.
• Provides support to residents and family members on an on-going basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1yearof experience in a senior living community or related setting, with demonstrated expertise in activity planning and event coordination.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
