Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator in Queen Creek, AZ to enrich resident life through engaging programs and events. You will manage community center schedules, plan activities, and coordinate with managers for promotions and orientations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and implement resident programs and events, engaging residents, property owners and sponsors.

  • Assist with scheduling, room requirements and fee collection for community activities.
  • Coordinate new resident orientations with Community Manager to promote participation.
  • Develop promotions for lifestyle programs via newsletters and social media.
  • Develop and promote facility space use and program administration.
  • Foster an active volunteer program among residents with recognition.
  • Manage short- and long-term rental registrations and compliance.
  • Support management with meeting packets and welcome materials.
  • Provide top-tier customer service to residents and guests.

Job Overview

As the Lifestyle Coordinator you will contribute to the smooth operations of the community and help to enrich the lifestyle of our residents by creating engaging resident programs and social events, while also performing general administrative tasks. You will ensure all community recreational, social and entertainment programs are promoted, conducted and fulfilled successfully.

As the Lifestyle Coordinator you will contribute to the smooth operations of the community and help to enrich the lifestyle of our residents by creating engaging resident programs and social events, while also performing general administrative tasks. You will ensure all community recreational, social and entertainment programs are promoted, conducted and fulfilled successfully.

Compensation

$70k annually, based on experience
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and implement resident programs and special community-wide events. Solicit input and involvement from residents/members, commercial property owners, and potential sponsors to stimulate participation and awareness of the robust and facilitated lifestyle opportunities found in community
  • Attend all community events and programs, many of which are held on weekends
  • Oversee the scheduling and programming of the community center, parks and in keeping with financial goals, member needs, and physical restrictions
  • Develop budgets for community programs / events
  • Assist members, clubs and community organizations in the scheduling of the Community center, to include room requirements, coordination with other community team members, and arrangements for the collection of fees as applicable
  • Coordinate New Resident Orientation presentations with the Community Manager to ensure adequate promotion, room set‑up, amenities and community participation
  • Coordinate the development of promotions for lifestyle programs for the Community newsletter, lifestyle public relations and marketing publications (i.e., mass emails and social media) as assigned
  • Develop and oversee the assignment of facility space, development and promotion of programs, file maintenance and acts as a general overseer
  • Develop an active volunteer program among residents, providing for both promotion and recognition
  • Management of short-and long-term rental registrations in the community including rental compliance enforcement
  • Assist manager and assistant manager with meeting packets, welcome packets, mass mailings and other special projects based on the needs of the community
  • Provide top‑tier customer service to our residents and guests while always maintaining a professional demeanor for walk ins, emails and phone calls at the community center
  • Attend regularly scheduled Board and Committee meetings as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills And Qualifications
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, and creative individual with a genuine passion for community building and event planning

  • Able to plan, organize, and execute resident programs and social events to create a sense of community
Education And Experience
  • Prior experience coordinating and promoting recreational and/ or volunteer programs (required)
  • Excellent technology and Microsoft Office Suite skills (required)
  • Higher education in recreation, hospitality or communication fields (preferred)
  • Prior experience in Property Management or HOA management is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Able to safely lift, carry, and pull up to 25 pounds
  • Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Property walks may occur which includes lengthy walks on uneven surfaces
  • Able to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment while staying on task
  • Able to work extended hours when necessary along with holidays and weekends as needed
Work Location

Queen Creek, AZ. 85140

Work Hours

Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p along with weekends and evenings as needed to support community events and attend board meetings as needed

Travel Requirements

Some local travel within the community with use of personal vehicle. Eligible for mileage reimbursement at the current IRS approved rates.
