Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an Adjunct Lifespan Instructor to join our Nursing Program, teaching Mondays 8:00am–11:00am.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours (23 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline; a Master's degree is preferred, and prior teaching experience is welcome.

The instructor will prepare student progress and grade reports, maintain attendance records, evaluate competence, and participate in faculty meetings to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline.
• Master degree is preferred.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
• Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency.
• Attend faculty meetings.
• Maintain professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses.
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.
