Job summary
Splendora Independent School District is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional to assist certified staff in delivering reading, math, language arts, and computer instruction to students with diverse needs. Under supervision, you will support classroom activities and help maintain an inclusive, safe learning environment.
Responsibilities include small-group tutoring, record-keeping, assisting with IEP processes, supervising non-instructional duties, and collaborating with teachers and parents
Qualifications
- Ability to reinforce reading, language arts, math, and computer instruction.
- Ability to work with students individually and in small groups.
- Ability to assist with assessments, record-keeping, and classroom prep.
Responsibilities
- Assist students with reading, language arts, math, and computer instruction.
- Support individual and small-group learning activities.
- Assist in administering and correcting classroom exercises and assessments.
- Help with materials preparation and distributing instructional resources.
- Record student progress and help with behavior management.
- Support non-instructional duties such as lunch and hallway supervision.
