Job summary

Skills of Central PA is seeking a full-time Lifesharing Specialist in the Altoona area. This role provides oversight to individuals served, Direct Support Professionals, and families, with a Monday–Friday 8a–4p schedule and on-call 24/7 as needed.

The specialist ensures medical and psychiatric needs are met, supports treatment plans, and coordinates appointments, transport, and safety checks to maintain home stability and compliance.

Qualifications

• One of three education groups with relevant direct support experience for intellectual disability or autism.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to learn to use applicable software programs; maintain regular attendance; follow timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support to people we support and Direct Support Professionals.
• Attend to medical and psychiatric needs, accompany to appointments as needed.
• Maintain safety checks and documentation; implement and evaluate treatments; monitor home safety and equipment.
