Overview

Full Time/Three 12 hour shifts (set schedule), Martinsville, IN

Responsibilities

• Care, transport, and treatment of ill/injured patients in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Relaying and receiving patient information.
• Compliance with regulatory requirements, departmental policies, safety policies, hospital policies, and scope of practice as defined by Indiana law.
• Appropriate care management for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult, and elderly patients.
• May include driving ambulance, patient transport, obtaining consents, recording ambulance run times, and processing billing and reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, EMT-P Indiana Paramedic license.
• Additional certifications within probationary period: PALS or equivalent, EVOC or equivalent, NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800.
• Preferred: Minimum 1 year ALS Paramedic experience.
• Ability to make independent clinical and operational decisions in challenging environments.
