LifeLine - Paramedic-ALS and BLS - WKEND Float

Overview

Location: Bloomington, IN / Weekend Float

Responsibilities include providing care, transport, and treatment of ill/injured patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. You will relay and receive information regarding patient conditions, comply with all regulatory and hospital policies, and operate within the scope of a Paramedic as defined by Indiana law. The role requires knowledge and skills to care for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult, and elderly patients. May involve driving an ambulance, transporting patients, obtaining consents, recording ambulance run times, and processing billing and reports.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Indiana Paramedic License
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required upon hire
  • PALS certification or equivalent to be obtained within initial probationary period
  • EVOC certification or equivalent within initial probationary period
  • NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications within initial probationary period
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year ALS Paramedic experience
Skills and Abilities

Ability to make independent, competent clinical and operational decisions in challenging environments.
