Join to apply for the Lifeguards role at Houston Country Club.

Houston Country Club (HCC) is seeking friendly and experienced American Red Cross Certified Lifeguards for our outdoor pool, open from April to October, with additional employment opportunities throughout the year. HCC offers a supportive work environment with full-time and part-time hours, providing meals, work incentives, bonuses, uniform, and certification assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a happy, positive, energetic, outgoing, passionate, helpful, and fun-loving attitude.
• Implement and enforce pool safety protocols.
• Attend mandatory weekly in-service trainings.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Support swimming instructors, swim team, pool members, pool parties, and other activities.
• Follow all safety standards, including procedures for adverse weather conditions.
• Report damages or incidents to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be certified by the American Red Cross.
• Availability for seasonal part-time or full-time work, 20-30 hours per week, with up to 40 hours possible.

Schedule

• Shifts of 4-6 hours, morning and evening shifts available.
• Flexible schedule, Tuesday to Sunday, off on Mondays.

Final candidates will be subject to pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
