Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Akron is seeking a Lifeguard for the Stow Health and Wellness Center. You will help maintain a safe, sanitary environment, monitor open swim, lead activities, and support water safety training.

The role requires current Lifeguard Training and First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, High School diploma, and the ability to work flexible day/evening/weekend shifts at Stow and nearby sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard Training and First Aid certification.
• CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer required.
• High School Education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive lifeguard duties during open swim, lap swim or programs.
• Enforce pool rules to prevent injuries and ensure patron safety.
• Perform daily safety checks, maintain equipment and keep areas clean.
• Attend mandatory in-services and keep certifications current.
