Position Overview

The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is seeking enthusiastic community members for part-time lifeguard positions to help ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. Certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in certification are welcome; we will certify you if you qualify. The starting pay is $14.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of members and program participants.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current CPR, AED, First Aid, and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen Administration (O2) is preferred but not required.
• Interested candidates who meet basic swim requirements will be trained if not already certified.
