Pay Range

This range is provided by YMCA of Greater Richmond. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $14.00/hr - $14.00/hr

Position Overview

The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is seeking enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool! We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards (we will certify you if you qualify). This part-time position starts at $14.00 per hour. Availability during weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguards are responsible for the safety of members and program participants.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Must have current CPR, AED, First Aid, and American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen Administration (O2) is preferred but not required.
• Interested candidates who meet basic swim requirements can be trained if not already certified.
