Position Overview

The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is seeking part-time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool. This position starts at $14.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead swim lessons for various age groups using diverse tools and teaching techniques.
• Work with small groups to teach swimming skills, water safety, and YMCA core values.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Preferred but not required: YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, Ellis, or YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor/WSI certifications. Certification can be provided if not currently certified.
