Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Dayton is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure safety in the pool environment. Responsibilities include monitoring pool conditions, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies. Candidates must be at least 15 years old and will receive certification training for CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Ability to achieve Lifeguard certification from recognized organizations.
• Preferred experience: Six months of related lifesaving experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety in the pool and surrounding areas.
• Respond to emergencies according to YMCA policy.
• Assist with swim instruction as needed.
