Job summary

EXOS is seeking a dedicated lifeguard to oversee our pool facilities, ensure safety, and deliver swim lessons for all ages. The role includes enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, and supporting program development and Aquatics center upkeep.

The ideal candidate will hold current Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications, with prior lifeguarding or teaching experience, and the ability to work in water for extended periods. This position aligns with EXOS' readiness approach.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire.
• Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire.
• Ability to be in water for long periods during the day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain watch over the pool area ensuring a secure and safe environment.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Respond to injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by club policy.
• Teach private & group swim lessons to kids and adults of all abilities.
• Assist in the development, implementation and marketing of innovative swim programs.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center.
