This position is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all guests by monitoring water slides, water features, pools, and decks to ensure safety, enforcing park rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

• Prevent injuries and hazards, respond effectively in emergencies, operate equipment safely per policies, and perform CPR/First Aid as needed.
• Clean and maintain decks and pools, and provide information to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Handle opening and closing duties, safety checks, and administer first aid when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with the Assistant Guest Engagement Manager and team to maintain a cohesive workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certifications: Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid (training provided by Holiday Inn Club Vacations).
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Complete a pre-hiring swim test demonstrating entering water safely and swimming at least 10 yards.
• Effective communication skills with guests and staff.
• Team-oriented attitude to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Ability to perform reasonable requests from management.
• Dedication to providing excellent owner and guest satisfaction.
• Professional appearance and friendly personality.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Self-directed and responsible.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard Certifications.
