Job summary

The Lake Superior YMCA in Hermantown, MN is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain safe swimming conditions and promote member safety in line with YMCA policies. The role can be part-time or full-time, with hourly pay.

Certification in CPR/AED and YMCA lifeguarding/First Aid is required, and a background check will be completed. We offer growth opportunities, benefits, and a culture focused on equity and community service.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED for professional rescuer certification is required.
• YMCA lifeguard/First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to maintain certification-level readiness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of the pool area.
• Follow emergency procedures promptly according to YMCA policies.
• Attend staff meetings and training; complete required reports.
