Job summary

The City-of-Longvie is seeking an entry-level Lifeguard to supervise swimmers, enforce facility rules, and help ensure public safety at the municipal pool. You will assist in opening and closing the pool and provide staff support to other recreation personnel as needed.

No prior experience is required, but Lifeguard Training and First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications from the American Red Cross are required, along with a valid Texas Driver's License.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise swimmers and monitor activities.
• Explain and enforce facility rules and regulations.
• Respond to emergencies; administer First Aid/CPR as needed.
• Prepare and submit accident and incident reports.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining pool facilities.
• Document and perform chemical testing.
• Open and close pool area; provide staff support as required.
