Job summary

FNSB — Temporary Worker seeks multiple aquatic staff to ensure spectator and participant safety in public swimming areas. Responsibilities include lifesaving, first aid, and general pool and locker room maintenance.

The role requires 18+ years old, ARC CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard certification, and willingness to work nights/weekends. Duties include cash handling, POS transactions, and daily revenue reporting. A Red Cross Swim Proficiency Test is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ at time of employment.
• Certification in Standard First Aid, Lifeguarding, and CPR-PR as recognized by the American Red Cross (or equivalent).
• Prefer ability and willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Must demonstrate all lifesaving and first aid skills required by the position.
• Must pass American Red Cross Swim Proficiency Test.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules in a polite but consistent manner.
• Perform lifesaving and first aid procedures as appropriate for the situation.
• Provide routine clean‑up, sanitizing and general maintenance in pool and locker room areas.
• Provide office support including cash handling activities, make change and operate a credit card machine.
• Operate a register with a point of sale, checking in patrons, selling passes, creating accounts and keeping a tally sheet of users in the building.
• Perform chlorine and pH water testing and document according to the test schedule.
• Complete daily attendance and revenue reports as instructed.
