Job summary

The Cove at the Lakefront needs a part-time lifeguard to monitor the pool, respond to emergencies, and enforce safety rules. Training will include American Red Cross Lifeguard, Waterpark, and First Aid certifications within four weeks of employment.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old, fluent in English, and committed to excellent customer service while ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for patrons.

Qualifications

• Must be at least fifteen years old and able to read/understand instructions.
• Must obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard certification within four weeks.
• Must obtain CPR/Professional Rescuer with AED within four weeks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas and identify distressed swimmers.
• Perform in-water rescues and CPR/first aid when needed.
• Enforce facility rules and maintain clean pool environment.
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
