Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure swimmer safety in an aquatic environment. The role requires vigilant surveillance, quick response to emergencies, and proper use of rescue equipment.

Training is provided by Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park, with opportunities to gain Lifeguard Certification. The position supports a team-oriented, safety-first culture and offers full and part-time schedules with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• 1
• Must be able to pass a swim test.
• Knowledge of aquatic industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to communicate with the public, guests and staff.
• Must have a positive attitude and follow rules for safety.
• Able to lift up to 150 pounds unassisted.
• Vision of 20/25 in each eye (correctable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain eye-hand coordination for surveillance.
• Read and interpret printed materials and diagrams.
• Anticipate where incidents may occur.
• Apply the 10/20 Protection Rule to incidents.
• Respond to emergencies with CPR and rescue skills.
• Operate lifeguard equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow EAP procedures during emergencies.
• Communicate clearly with guests and staff.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain professional behavior and safety standards.
