Join Our Team as a Lifeguard at Walt Disney World Resort

Are you passionate about being a first responder? We are seeking Lifeguards to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you're ready for this exciting challenge, apply today!

Compensation: The pay rate in Florida is $18.25 per hour for Shallow Water Lifeguards and $19.25 per hour for Deep Water Lifeguards.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Full-time availability includes all days, weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Part-time requires availability for any 3 days and any shift including evenings
• Strong observational skills and ability to proactively identify Guest needs and safety compliance
• Excellent verbal communication skills for engaging with Guests, Cast Members, and leadership
• Pass a vision screening (at least 20/25 vision, corrected or uncorrected) and a hearing screening
• Lifeguard training provided and must be successfully completed
• Ability to lift Guests up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to swim 50 yards, perform a feet-first dive, and retrieve a 10-pound brick from 5 feet depth
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling

Schedule Availability

Our parks operate 24/7, 365 days a year. Shifts may start as early as 5:00 am or end as late as 5:00 am the next day. Scheduling is based on seniority principles.
