Located in Greenwood, IN, our 132-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness and chemical dependency. Valle Vista offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities.

Position Description: The lifeguard is responsible for the safety, supervision and customer service of all persons using water pool facilities. He/she works under the supervision of the Recreational Therapy Coordinator and/or Nursing Supervisor. He or she must have current American Red Cross Training, First aid, and CPR certificates. Additional duties may be assigned. The lifeguard must have good communication & customer service skills and be able to interact with members of all hospital departments.

Requirements:

Education/Licensure: Current American Red Cross Training Certificate; First Aid & CPR Training Certificates.

Experience: Prior experience as lifeguard, preferred.

Additional Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be willing to work flexible work hours, and be available to work as scheduled based upon the need of the department. Must wear appropriate staff swim wear. Employee may be asked to provide assistance and/or accommodations to include participants with disabilities.
