Responsibilities

The Lifeguard - Part-Time at Valle Vista Health System is responsible for ensuring the safety, supervision, and customer service of all individuals using water pool facilities. The role reports to the Recreational Therapy Coordinator and/or Nursing Supervisor. Candidates must possess current American Red Cross Training, First Aid, and CPR certifications. Additional duties may be assigned, and strong communication and customer service skills are essential for interacting effectively with members across hospital departments.

Requirements

• Education/Licensure: Current American Red Cross Training Certificate; First Aid & CPR Training Certificates.
• Experience: Prior lifeguard experience is preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Must be 21 years or older, willing to work flexible hours, and able to wear appropriate swimwear. Employees may need to assist or accommodate participants with disabilities.
