Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to joined our team. The role emphasizes safety, attentive customer service, and active supervision of indoor and outdoor pools, water features, and events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

You will greet members, monitor the pool deck, perform rescues and first aid as needed, and maintain a clean, safe pool environment for all guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR and First Aid certification (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members
