Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age with a minimum of 2 years lifeguarding experience.
• Hold American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification.
• CPR with AED and First Aid certifications.
• Preferred: CPO or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO).
• Experience in training lifeguards and managing pool activities is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Instruct, lead, supervise, and ensure safety of all class participants.
• Maintain appearance and order of materials and equipment used for instruction.
• Plan personal teaching outlines aligned with ARC Lifeguard/CPR programs.
• Audit lifeguards monthly and document in HydroApps.
• Lead in-service trainings during summer and document outcomes.
• Assist Aquatics Supervisor with recruitment, events, and hiring as needed.
• Ensure compliance with facility rules and timekeeping policies.
