Qualifications

• Must maintain current LGT, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
• At least 6 months of experience as a lifeguard or a combination of education and experience.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the activities of the patrons at the Town of Avon Recreation Center.
• Check assignment sheets for additional responsibilities.
• Maintain and store equipment properly.
• Enforce rules politely and fairly.
• Attend in-service training sessions and meetings.
• Handle patron and staff complaints.
