Job summary

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking year-round Lifeguards to help keep our pool a safe, welcoming space for members and guests. A +10% differential is available for bilingual staff fluent in Spanish and English. Applicants must hold ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, CPR-PR certifications and adhere to safety protocols.

Minimum age is 16; 15-year-olds may apply as Junior Lifeguard. Benefits include opportunities for training, a free family membership, and more.

Qualifications

• ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, Emergency Oxygen and CPR-PR certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for safety and wellbeing of members and guests.
• Ensure pool and hot tub safety while in use.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness, perform water testing and basic problem-solving.
• Relate positively to staff, members, participants and children.
• Other duties as assigned.
