Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to teach swimming to both adults and children and to assess swim levels. You will maintain a safe pool area and promote Aquatics programs, while answering guest questions and delivering quality instruction across the club.

Responsibilities include instructing lessons and events, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and supporting member experience. Competitive hourly pay reflects experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must complete Life Time courses upon hire.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and move about the club for extended periods.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certifications (or bridge to StarGuard).
• Preferred: swim lesson instruction or coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events.
• Respond to member questions and concerns.
• Provide a safe, clean and organized pool area.
• Promote and sell all Aquatics programs and services.
