Job summary

Bathhouse is seeking an attentive Lifeguard Attendant to monitor pools, saunas and wet areas, ensuring guest safety and a clean, welcoming space all day and evening. You will provide warm customer service, enforce rules, and support opening/closing duties as part of a polished, high‑energy environment.

The role requires CPR/AED and lifeguarding certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to stand for long periods. Flexible scheduling is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid must be valid.
• Valid Lifeguarding certificate (deep or shallow water).
• Certified Pool Operator certificate preferred.
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Strong verbal communication and guest‑first demeanor.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pools and wet areas to ensure guest safety.
• Maintain constant visual surveillance and intervene when unsafe activity occurs.
• Keep walkways dry by squeegeeing floors regularly.
• Respond to emergencies following safety protocols.
• Provide warm, attentive customer service and answer questions.
• Enforce bathhouse and pool rules professionally.
• Inspect pools, ladders, handrails, and equipment for hazards.
• Assist with water testing and logging results.
• Set up loungers, towels and amenities for a polished space.
• Assist in basic first aid until medical help arrives if needed.
• Support opening/closing duties and general wet area cleanliness.
